Michael J Dohoney is a long time sideman to artists Delbert McClinton, Anson Funderburgh, Gary Nicholson, Denny Freeman & Glen Clark, among others. A native Texan, he returned from Los Angeles where he established himself with appearances on radio, TV and film, as well as numerous studio and live performances. He has played and sung with an impressive list of artists including Roy Buchanan, Cornell Dupree, Bonnie Raitt, Kenny Loggins, Steve Miller and Paul McCartney. On screen performances include TV shows "The Two of Us" and "General Hospital" and feature films "Swing Shift", "Iron Eagles" and "The Wedding Singer". He is an in demand artist in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and a regular on the local scene. A veteran Texas drummer and commanding vocalist, he pours his heart and soul into each performance.
